Blue Arrow seeks an experienced Facilities Maintenance Person/Engineer for a permanent role based near Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, UK. The position focuses on delivering a compliant FM coordination service including PPM, safety checks, and contractor control within a university setting.

Role: Facilities Maintenance Person / Engineer

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £30,000

We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Total FM delivering a professional, compliance-led Facilities Management coordination service at the University of Staffordshire (USSV), ensuring statutory compliance, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), contractor control, and social value commitments are effectively managed.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, confidence in carrying out PPM tasks, plumbing repairs, and HVAC maintenance, while reliably performing safety checks across fire systems and emergency equipment, using CAFM systems effectively, and communicating professionally with school staff, site managers, and FM teams.
