Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer in Llanelli, Wales, on a 4 on 4 off days shift. The role covers electrical maintenance across site equipment and systems, with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will maintain pumps, fans, compressors, steam boilers, HVAC, and wastewater systems, ensuring compliance and optimal performance within a fast-paced food production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a facilities or site services role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
• Previous refrigeration experience or F Gas qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify electrical safety hazards and compliance issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment to minimise downtime.
• Assist in planning facility improvement projects with an electrical emphasis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve facility goals.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations for electrical work.
• Work on pumps, fans, compressors, steam boilers, HVAC, and related systems.
