Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our site in Bradley Stoke, Bristol. This varied, hands-on role supports the Facilities Manager and the wider Engineering team to keep our plant, services and equipment safe, reliable and efficient.

If you have electrical and/or mechanical skills and enjoy fault-finding, you’ll help deliver lasting, practical solutions while maintaining thorough maintenance records and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities, Site Services, Maintenance or Engineering roles, or via an Engineering apprenticeship.
• Electrical and/or mechanical maintenance skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and root-cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance across plant, equipment and site services.
• Respond to faults and breakdowns; diagnose problems and identify root causes.
• Implement sustainable repairs to maximise equipment reliability.
• Complete maintenance activities safely and to a high standard.
• Follow planned maintenance schedules across daily to annual cycles.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and audit-ready documentation.
