Job summary

Yeo Valley Organic is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at our Blagdon/Paignton site. You’ll ensure smooth production operations, carrying out maintenance across plant and machinery while supporting improvements to drive efficiency.

The role follows a 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern with potential overtime. We value teamwork, safety, and continuous development as part of our co-owned, British dairy business.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Engineering qualification, apprenticeship trained preferred.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety in a food processing environment.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG preferred.
• Strong electrical or multi-skilled abilities depending on experience.
• SCADA experience would be an advantage.
• Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and plant across site.
• Minimise downtime and fault finding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Assist with root cause analysis, continuous improvement and daily operational efficiencies.
• Assist with project work including new plant and equipment introductions.
