Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Handyman to deliver facilities services across commercial environments at the Balderstone site. You will perform general maintenance tasks and act as the first responder for issues, keeping assets safe and isolated when needed.

The role requires a background in facilities maintenance, a qualification in one building trade, and a full UK driving licence. You will work independently and support efficient facility operations with strong customer focus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out general minor maintenance tasks across the site.
• Act as the first responder for maintenance issues, ensuring assets are made safe and isolated where required.
• Complete minor building repairs including door handles, door closers, window handles, blind repairs, wall repairs, floor repairs and trip hazard repairs.
• Undertake minor fabric maintenance works to support the efficient operation of the facility.
• Carry out minor plumbing tasks including toilet seat replacements, flush repairs, tap revivers and trap cleaning.
