Job summary

Willowbrook Hospice is seeking a part-time Facilities Supervisor to coordinate and manage the Facilities and Gardening teams across its estate, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for patients, staff and volunteers.

The role includes line management, budgeting, contractor liaison, and driving continuous improvement in facilities operations. You will report to the Head of Estates and Facilities and work on-site across Willowbrook Hospice locations in the St Helens and Merseyside area.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and manage Facilities and Gardening teams to ensure safe, compliant, well-maintained environments across Willowbrook Hospice estates.
• Provide line management to facilities staff, monitor service delivery and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate day-to-day facilities operations, allocate resources and prioritise workload to ensure effective service delivery.
• Manage budgets, procurement activities and supplier invoices to ensure value for money and budget adherence.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of facilities maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects with contractor management and progress reporting.
• Monitor compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, Legionella, asbestos and CQC standards.
