Job summary

Willowbrook Hospice in Knowsley is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead the Facilities and Gardening teams, delivering safe, compliant and well-maintained environments for patients, staff and volunteers.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate planned and reactive works, oversee budgets and supplier contracts, and report to the Head of Estates and Facilities. The role requires line management, attention to health and safety, and a commitment to the hospice's values.

Qualifications

• Experience leading facilities teams and coordinating multiple sites.
• Strong budgetary and procurement awareness.
• Commitment to Health & Safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line management of Facilities and Gardening teams, including performance and absence management.
• Coordinate day-to-day facilities operations and allocate resources to ensure service delivery.
• Maintain staffing records and submit payroll information within timescales.
• Support budget planning and monitor expenditure and supplier invoices.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
