Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is recruiting a Facilities Manager for Roseland Retirement Village. The role oversees property and grounds maintenance, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.

It is a full-time post, 37.5 hours weekly, with a 5/7 rota including some weekends. You’ll lead a small Estates team and contractors, drive compliant service delivery and proactive maintenance, and work within the Village Management Team to enhance resident experience

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above qualification in Facilities Management or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience managing estates, buildings or residential facilities.
• IOSH Managing Safely and Legionella awareness certification.
• Practical knowledge of fire, water and building safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Estates Operatives and manage external contractors.
• Oversee village buildings, M&E systems, communal areas and grounds.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and carry out risk assessments.
• Plan rotas, monitor performance and support staff development.
• Contribute to budgeting and procurement for estates services.
