Job summary

Luton Bennett in Telford is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join a quality‑focused manufacturing site. This role suits a mechanically or electrically biased engineer who can lead with purpose and support maintenance strategies.

You will attend breakdowns, fault find, monitor and repair critical systems (compressed air, vacuum, RO plant, effluent, HVAC) and implement improvements while carrying out installation work. The position offers a structured development environment and onsite benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Mechanically or electrically biased.
• Leadership experience and an engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Attending breakdowns

Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 16:00

Facilities Engineer required for a true industry leader in their industry. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a quality focused manufacturing company who are committed to employee development and training.

This role would suit mechanically or electrically biased engineer with experience in a similar role. You will need leadership experience and hold a relevant engineering qualification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending breakdowns and fault finding.

The Facilities Engineer Role:

• Attending breakdowns
• Maintain, monitor and repair critical auxiliary systems including but not limited to: Compressed air, Vacuum, Reverse Osmosis Plant, Effluent Plant, Extraction etc
• Implementation of improvements
• Installation work
• Basic maintenance activities such carpentry, plumbing repairs, minor electrical works, HVAC, LED replacement etc
