Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Join our team at Greencore, a leading manufacturer of convenience food in the UK, dedicated to making everyday taste better. We employ 13,300 colleagues across 16 manufacturing units and 17 distribution depots nationwide, supplying a wide range of food products to all UK food retailers.

Our Manton Wood site has around 1,700 colleagues and features amenities such as a gym, restaurant, and staff shop. We produce sandwiches and wraps for major UK retailers including Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi, and Lidl.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facilities Engineer, you will be part of a team of 4 engineers reporting to the Facilities Managers. Your role will involve ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the site through:

• Completing planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment, including steam boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration, and effluent plants
• Fault finding to establish root causes and implementing fixes
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, safe systems of work, and legislative requirements

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday schedule, from 7:00 to 15:00.
