DK Recruitment are seeking a skilled Facilities Electrician to join a facilities management team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to work within a commercial environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure building services operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical maintenance in facilities management or a commercial environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
• Undertake electrical inspections, testing and fault finding.
• Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting and associated building services.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation accurately.
• Liaise with site teams, contractors and management to minimise disruption.
• Identify potential improvements and report any defects or safety concerns.
