Job summary

Calibre Search has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management company. You will operate across Bath, Bristol and Swindon, carrying out a range of building maintenance duties on electrical and mechanical plant.

The role requires NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations/maintenance and 18th Edition. You will work as part of a team with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance and site safety.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background and qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance.
• Minimum 18th edition as a qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support other technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales and ensure paperwork is completed.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repairs within agreed timescales.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are available and serviceable.
• Attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work as required.
• Work with colleagues to maintain quality standards and professional conduct.
• Represent the company professionally and develop relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Carry out tasks in line with KPI's and update Mercury system with live job updates.

Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country\'s leading Facilities Management companies working in Bath, Bristol and Swindon.

The ideal maintenance electrician will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum.

The role will be working as part of a team working at a number of retail sites in the Bath, Bristol and Swindon area undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.

Duties

• Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM\'s and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
• Although aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the Technician will be required to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
• Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with client and colleagues.
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI\'s.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately ensuring live job updates from you and your team at all times.

Salary / Package

• Basic Salary - £41,325 (including standby)

• Overtime rates 1.5x monday to friday, 2x saturdays and sundays
