Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Defence is hiring a part-time Facilities Assistant to help run daily operations. You will perform minor repairs, maintain the exterior, and assist with contract sign-in and site compliance, while representing the company with a positive brand image.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role, is adaptable, a brilliant communicator, reliable and capable of working under pressure, supporting health and safety processes and general site upkeep across a 30-hour

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar facilities role.
• Strong communication and time management.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
