Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Ipswich is seeking a part-time Customer Services Assistant FM to support the Defence operations. The role covers 32.5 hours per week and 49.2 weeks per year, focusing on minor repairs, exterior upkeep, and contractor coordination to uphold safety and standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior relevant experience, be adaptable to changing priorities, and show strong communication and reliability to support a high-quality service for Defence sites.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules.
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
