Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth operation of Defence facilities on a full-time basis (35 hours/week, 49.2 weeks/year). The role involves minor repairs, site maintenance, and supervising contractor access, with a focus on safety and brand representation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, be adaptable to changing priorities, and demonstrate excellent communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar facilities role
• Adaptable and able to handle changing priorities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Punctual, reliable and able to work under pressure
• Initiative and decision-making for customers

Responsabilités

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
