Surrey Police & Sussex Police Collaboration is seeking a Facilities Coordinator within the Estates and Facilities Management unit. The post supports the police estate with a professional FM service, primarily focusing on Soft FM, maintenance coordination, and contractor oversight.

You will work across Surrey Police Headquarters and other sites, undertaking site moves and ensuring compliance and best value. A full driving licence and ability to pass a Police driving assessment are essential.

Competenze

• Desire to undertake training to enhance knowledge and develop skills.
• Full driving licence with the ability to pass a Police driving assessment.
• Experience of undertaking minor repairs, improvements or working in a similar environment.
• Basic knowledge and experience of Microsoft software including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent planning and organising skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Experience of working within and contributing towards team goals with initiative.
• Knowledge of workplace health & safety with experience of buildings legislation (Fire, Legionella, COSHH, Asbestos, lone working, working at height).
• IOSH Managing Safety or equivalent qualification; if not, commitment to work towards within an agreed time-frame.

• Deliver a professional, efficient and effective FM service supporting policing operations.
• Carry out pro-active and re-active minor maintenance tasks.
• Manage contractor activity and monitor contracts against SLAs and KPIs.
• Support site refurbishments, relocations and office moves.
• Hold a full driving licence and pass a Police driving assessment for police-owned vehicles.
• Work with Estates & Facilities colleagues and stakeholders across sites.
• Participate in FM training and mandatory courses as required.
