Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support Defence operations on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). The role focuses on maintaining high facility standards, coordinating with contractors, and upholding safety and brand integrity across the site.

You will perform minor repairs, ensure exterior areas are tidy, manage contractor sign-ins, and assist with opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a similar facilities role.
• Need good communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and strong timekeeping.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Keep the exterior of the site clean and in good repair.
• Assist facilities team with contractor control and sign-in procedures.
• Open and close the building as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold the brand.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
