Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to support Defence operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 32.5 hours per week. The role focuses on maintaining quality work, supervising a team, and ensuring health and safety and food hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience supervising frontline teams, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage rotas and stock orders while remaining calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a positive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders for stock to maintain levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 32.5 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported

• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
