Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is recruiting a Contract Supervisor to oversee hard FM services across 26 commercial sites in Greater Manchester. The role emphasizes leadership of maintenance teams, safe operation, and compliance with contractual requirements.

The candidate will report to the Contract Manager, coordinate subcontractors, monitor KPIs, and ensure timely on-site maintenance work while maintaining accurate CAFM records and conducting inspections.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within Facilities Management.
• Strong mechanical or electrical building services background.
• Experience managing engineering teams.
• Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Experience using CAFM systems.
• Knowledge of KPIs, SLAs and health and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of hard FM services across 26 commercial sites.
• Supervise static maintenance engineers and manage PPM and reactive works.
• Ensure statutory compliance and health and safety standards.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Support Contract Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialist maintenance providers.
• Maintain maintenance records and carry out site inspections and audits.
• Act as first point of escalation for engineering and client issues.
• Support on-call emergency maintenance when required.
