Job description

You're the kind of person who ensures office maintenance and safety checks never slip through the cracks, knows when a fire risk assessment is due, and can keep an office moveproject on track.

We're looking for aFacilities Compliance Officerto join our Central Business Services Team. You'll be the go-to person who ensures our office spaces run smoothly and meet all legal requirements. You'll manage projects, support audits, and find practical ways to work smarter.

You'll report to and work closely with our Facilities Manager, and be trusted to take ownership of your work, suggest improvements, and play a key role in our growing firm.

What you'll be great at (and enjoy doing)

  • Managing contractors, utilities, maintenance, and supporting office relocations across our offices
  • Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Coordinating projects to keep our workplaces safe, efficient, and fully compliant
  • Improving facilities processes and contributing to greener, more sustainable office practices
  • Being a proactive member of the Sustainability Working Group and providing hands-on operational support when needed

What we're looking for
  • Experience managing projects or working in a facilities/property role
  • An eye for detail and strong organisational skills
  • Good time management, you can prioritise tasks effectively
  • Comfortable with travel and working across multiple sites
  • Curious, practical, and open to learning

Salary & Location
  • £30,000 per annum
  • Full-time (35 hours)
  • Ideally based in Harrogate or within commuting distance. You'll need to attend training and regular meetings at least once or twice a week at our Harrogate office, with regular travel to other office locations across the firm as required.
