Job summary

Sellick Partnership is partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit an experienced Property and Compliance Manager (Hard & Soft FM) to lead statutory compliance, building safety and multi-site facilities management across a diverse estate in Birmingham.

This hands-on interim role requires taking ownership from day one, delivering Fire Safety, Asbestos and Legionella compliance, coordinating contractors, and producing reports for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive statutory compliance experience in facilities/estate/property environments.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, Gas and Electrical safety compliance.
• Experience across hard and soft FM services and multi-site management.
• Experience managing contractors and third-party service providers.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and assurance activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory compliance and building safety across multiple sites.
• Act as lead officer for property compliance and legislative standards.
• Manage Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, Gas and Electrical safety programs.
• Oversee planned maintenance and inspections.
• Manage hard FM services (M&E, certifications, lifecycle planning).
• Oversee soft FM services (cleaning, security, waste, grounds).
• Coordinate contractors and remedial works from inspections and audits.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Maintain compliance records and monitor certifications across estates.
• Provide reports and assurance to senior stakeholders.
• Identify operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
