Job summary

Sellick Partnership are recruiting an experienced Building Safety & Compliance Manager to lead building safety, fire safety and compliance across a varied residential portfolio in Hertfordshire. This interim role offers a temporary to permanent path with a daily rate of up to £500.

You will oversee safety cases, regulatory reporting, risk management and engage with residents, contractors and regulators to foster a strong safety culture while developing a specialist team and ensuring adherence to

Qualifications

• Experience managing building safety and fire safety in social housing or similar residential setting.
• Familiarity with Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Risk Order and related legislation.
• Experience developing safety case reports and managing higher-risk buildings.
• Qualification in construction, surveying, building safety or compliance to degree level.

Responsibilities

• Lead building and fire safety compliance across residential housing stock.
• Develop and maintain Building Safety Cases and assurance processes.
• Oversee building safety information and regulatory reporting requirements (Golden Thread).
• Manage fire risk assessment programmes and remedial action plans.
• Engage with residents, contractors, consultants and regulators to promote safety culture.
• Provide strategic advice on building safety, fire safety and compliance matters.
• Lead and develop a specialist building safety team.
• Monitor compliance performance, safety risks and improvement programmes across the portfolio.
