Position: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 per week – hours of work will be discussed at interview stage
Pay Rate: Excellent salary based on experience
Role responsibilities include:
- Supporting maintenance, facilities, and hygiene compliance to ensure high standards of appearance, wellbeing, and H&S
- Supporting the HSF management team with site service providers, including manual handling equipment, third-party engineers, and cleaning services
- Conducting contractor site inductions, maintaining a visitor database, and managing permit-to-work issuance
- Assisting the HSF management team with repairs, maintenance, and decoration as needed
- Maintaining lists of service and maintenance providers for key assets such as sprinklers and alarms
- Keeping asset lists and audit logs, including water testing, fire alarm tests, and legal compliance checks
- Managing inspection schedules, reactive tasks, and ad hoc projects proactively
- Building relationships to support operational continuity and being customer-focused
- Supporting the Health, Safety, and Facilities Manager in maintaining compliance and records
- Liaising with contractors, issuing permits, and reviewing performance
- Ensuring site presentation and first impressions for colleagues and visitors
- Supporting the promotion of health, safety, and facilities objectives
- Representing the HSF team professionally
Desired skills & experience:
- Experience managing facilities compliance, inspections, and routine tasks in a warehouse environment or willingness to develop in this area
- Interest or understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work with contractors and build positive relationships
- Excellent administrative and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database management
- Team player with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a good work ethic
- Aptitude for engaging with warehouse functions, contractors, and suppliers professionally
Note: This role is focused on inspection, recording, and reactive resolution, not engineering management.
