Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of the facilities cleaning team within our warehouse environment. You will work closely with Facilities, Automation and Operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and efficiency in high-risk areas.

This role requires COSHH, Manual Handling, and Health & Safety compliance, with annual training on cleaning machinery.

Qualifications

Background in soft services with relevant qualifications or experience.
Proficient in operating modern cleaning machinery.
Experience using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office 365.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Knowledge of ISSA/CIMS and BS EN 13549 standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the section manager to coordinate cleaning tasks and priorities.
Provide supervision and manage team members.
Oversee daily cleaning operations and departmental activities.
Monitor team wellbeing and escalate concerns when needed.
Conduct 1–2–1 performance reviews and use KPIs.
Administer scheduling and reporting software used by the team.
Supervise multiple cleaning shifts and provide technical support.
Cover the Section Manager role when required.
