Job summary

St Joseph's Specialist Trust is seeking a General Assistant (Cleaning) to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment across our site, including offices, classrooms, washrooms and residential areas. You will manage cleaning supplies, handle chemicals safely and respond quickly to spills, with deep cleaning scheduled as required.

The role supports laundry, waste and recycling tasks and assists with general estates duties within a semi-rural campus near Surrey Hills.

Qualifications

• Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Own transport preferred due to semi-rural location.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks across offices, classrooms, washrooms and residential areas.
• Manage stock of cleaning supplies and handle chemicals safely.
• Respond promptly to spills and incidents.
• Complete deep cleaning in line with schedules and specifications.
• Support laundry, waste and recycling tasks.
• Assist with general estates and facilities duties as part of the wider team.
