Leeds University Union (LUU) invites applications for a Facilities Cleaning Assistant who will join the cleaning team and maintain high standards across campus spaces.

The role is part-time (12 hours per week, Mon-Thu 18:00-21:00) with a pro rata salary of £7,974 per year. Closing date is 19 October 2026; interviews planned soon; start date TBC / ASAP.

• Good communication skills, reliability and ability to clean to a high standard.

Salary: £7,974per annumpro rata, FTE £24,257

Hours: Part time - 12 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 18.00-21.00

To ensure that we maintain our spaces to a high standard, we require Facilities Cleaning Assistants who will work to our cleaning schedules, are willing to learn and contribute to the cleaning team in working together to achieve the highest standard of cleaning here at LUU.

You will work with the Facilities Supervisor and Cleaning Manager to ensure that we provide an effective cleaning service. A ‘safety and service first’ approach is required for this role and is vital in being successful.

What We’re Looking For
