The University of Nottingham is looking for enthusiastic cleaners to join the team at University Park West. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness across various areas, providing customer service, and flexibility in working hours.

Main duties will include cleaning a wide range of areas/spaces and providing general and specialised cleaning within the building, including but not limited to classrooms, meeting rooms, various flooring/carpeted areas, refuse disposal, toilets, changing areas, corridors, and stairwells. You will also provide excellent customer service at all times, working independently or as part of a team.
The role includes providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team with holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, and any urgent requests assigned by the Line Manager.
Previous cleaning experience within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
The role can be physically demanding, but lifting aids and full training will be supplied.
These positions are offered on a permanent basis, working on a rolling 52‑week contract basis to include student vacation periods.
Salary: £25,353 to £26,379 per annum based on a 36.25‑hour contract or pro‑rata if applicable.
