Job summary

Leeds University Union is seeking a Facilities Supervisor (Role O) to help maintain our spaces to a high standard. The role works 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:30–14:30, in Leeds LS2 9JZ, and reports to the Cleaning Manager with a focus on safety and service.

Ideal candidates will have building cleaning experience in a multi-use setting, with strong communication, reliability and a positive can-do attitude. The role involves cleaning duties in areas where alcohol is served.

Pay:£17,506 per annum (based on the full time equivalent salary of£25,559 per annum)

About the role:

To ensure that we maintain our spaces to a high standard, we require a Facilities Cleaning Supervisor who will work to our cleaning schedules, is willing to learn and contribute to the cleaning team in working together to achieve the highest standard of cleaning here at LUU.

You will work with the Cleaning Manager to ensure that we provide an effective cleaning service. A ‘safety and service first’ approach is required for this role and is vital in being successful.

What we're looking for:

The successful candidate will have previous building cleaning experience and experience of working within a multi-use building. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to clean to a high standard is essential. Flexibility and a positive can-do attitude is required.

Please note that this role involves carrying out cleaning duties in areas where alcohol is served.
