Job summary

Verdant Parks is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to join our team across park premises in the United Kingdom. You will maintain cleanliness of the main complex including reception, bar and restaurant areas, leisure spaces and corridors, ensuring high standards throughout the day.

Training is provided; you should be detail-oriented, reliable and able to work independently or with others. Flexibility for weekends and bank holidays is required to support a busy hospitality environment at our parks.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in hospitality or leisure (training provided)
• Strong eye for detail and pride in high standards
• Reliable, hardworking and proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the main complex building, including reception, bar, restaurant, leisure spaces and corridors
• Ensure public areas are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard
• Clean washrooms and replenish consumables (soap, towels, toilet rolls)
• Carry out routine and periodic deep cleaning tasks per standards
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitise floors and surfaces
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely per health and safety guidelines
• Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the team

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining the main complex building, including reception, bar and restaurant areas, leisure spaces and communal corridors
• Ensuring all public areas are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard throughout the day
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls
• Carrying out routine and periodic deep cleaning tasks in line with company standards
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and sanitising floors and surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and responsibly
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with health and safety guidelines
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or hazards within the complex promptly to the appropriate team

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience (ideally within hospitality or leisure, though not essential as full training will be provided)
• A strong eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards
• A reliable, hardworking and proactive approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
