Job summary

Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen is seeking a dedicated Janitor to support a range of facilities services, ensuring a clean, safe and well-maintained environment for staff and students. The role requires a can-do attitude and a grounding in admin/IT to help with routine tasks and record-keeping.

You will work 7-hour shifts across 5 days per week (including weekends), averaging around 35 hours. A uniform is provided, and staff benefit from a generous pension, 46 days leave, an onsite nursery

Qualifications

• Good general level of education.
• Experience delivering a high quality service in a customer focused environment.
• Willingness to undertake additional training or development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of customer service across facilities.
• Carry out cleaning, minor maintenance and room setup.
• Support health and safety standards and daily checks.
• Assist with security tasks and opening/locking buildings.
• Drive University vehicles when required.
