Job summary

Wymondham College, part of Sapientia Education Trust, is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join the Estates Team in a part-time, permanent role. The post holder will maintain a safe, well-presented environment across the campus, operate with minimal supervision, and uphold health and safety regulations.

A current driving licence and reliability are essential. The College offers non-contractual benefits and a supportive working environment on an 83-acre site, with a six-month probationary period

Qualifications

• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Current, clean driving licence.
• Sound track record in construction or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general Estate Caretaker / Handyman functions as per responsibilities.
• Comply with Sapientia Education Trust Code of Conduct for Staff and Volunteers.
• Support safeguarding commitments for children and young people.
• Follow Health & Safety instructions and Caretaker Code of Practice.
