Job summary

Forrest Recruitment seeks an Assistant Building Manager in Trafford Park to oversee facilities across multiple sites. The role expects proven FM experience, strong supplier liaison skills, and a hands-on approach to maintaining service quality.

You will support the Senior Building Manager, validate invoices, supervise minor works, and conduct daily safety checks, ensuring the H&S system remains current and compliant.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in facilities management and knowledge of managing agent responsibilities.
• Experience of FM services.
• Good working knowledge of relationships between landlord and tenants within the commercial property sector.
• IOSH trained.

Responsibilities

• Managing all hard and soft services over multiple sites, planned and reactive maintenance.
• Assisting the Senior Building Manager with contact meetings with suppliers.
• Invoice validation for completed services provided.
• Managing and instructing all minor works, overseeing.
• Completing daily safety and risk assessment tours.
• Ensuring the H&S system is updated and maintained at all time.
