Job Description:

AD Education UK is a growing network of leading creative education institutes in the UK, including The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) and SAE Institute UK. With over 40 years of experience, our graduates excel in the music, film, games, and wider creative media sectors.

Requirements

Reporting to the Facilities Operational Manager, the Facilities Assistant will support the daily operation of ICMP’s facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Facilities Operational Manager
• Maintaining and repairing musical equipment
• Assisting staff and students with technical issues
• Preparing equipment for shows and events
• Setting up rooms for classes, exams, and meetings
• Assisting with compliance tasks and preventative maintenance
• Performing building maintenance and DIY tasks
• Providing customer service at the facilities helpdesk

This role is ideal for candidates experienced in maintaining musical instruments and equipment or music school graduates passionate about music performance and technology. The candidate should have a proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to high-quality customer service. Flexibility to undertake CPD training and work weekends during shows and events is required.
