Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Facilities Assistant for the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus. You will join the Estates team, carrying out essential maintenance, safety checks and support services to keep buildings and plant running smoothly.

This full-time role is 39 hours per week, with early starts (Mon-Thu 6:30am–3:00pm, Fri 6:30am–2:00pm) and a salary in the £26,860–£28,758 per annum range, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in estates/facilities maintenance and safety checks.
• Ability to operate and monitor building management systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Configure heating, electrical, lighting and building management systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance, fire safety checks, Legionella and PAT testing.
• Open/close buildings, respond to alarms, assist external contractors.
