National Trust is seeking a Facilities Assistant at Belton House to help keep the buildings and outdoor spaces in good condition for visitors. The role emphasizes practical tasks, cleaning, minor maintenance, and assisting with deliveries to ensure facilities are well run.

£12.75 per hour

You will work 20 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on Monday, Thursday, and either Saturday or Sunday, depending on team cover requirements.

You’ll help with the day-to-day presentation of the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces. You’ll be turning your hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor bits of maintenance, making sure that all our facilities are kept in good working order. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries.
Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter-picking, both inside and outdoors, form a core part of this role. You’ll aim for the highest standards of customer service everywhere you look after, and this includes speaking to people as they visit and helping them with any queries. You might also get involved with general maintenance work and helping other teams if they need extra support.
