Forest Holidays is seeking a reliable Facilities Assistant at Ardgartan Argyll (Loch Long). You will keep cabins in good order, carry out basic maintenance, repairs, and decorating, using simple tools. You will respond quickly to issues and maintain high guest communication.

You'll join the Operations Team, support location tasks, and help deliver the Forest Feeling to guests from the moment they arrive. A driving licence and access to a car are essential due to limited public transport.

Work Where the Mountains Meet the Loch

• Location: Ardgartan Argyll (Loch Long)
• Salary: £12.71 per hour
• Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours.
• Days of Work: Working 5 days out of 7, 9am until 6pm.
• Transport: Please note that our location is not accessible by public transport. Therefore, a valid driving licence and access to a car, or another reliable means of transport, are essential for this role.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our lovely team at Argyll. At the edge of the Argyll Forest Park, pine-covered mountains sweep down to meet the shore of Loch Long where 40 cabins sit. A more perfect spot for a forest escape is hard to imagine.

About the Facilities Assistant role:

As Facilities Assistant, you will ensure our cabins are in good working order with well-maintained décor. You will complete general maintenance tasks, so a basic knowledge of using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating is desirable. You will respond to issues promptly and the ability to solve these issues whilst maintaining excellent communication with the guest is essential.

Our Facilities Assistant will ensure every cabin is regularly audited to keep standards high. Working in the Operations Team you will also assist across the location as and when required, for example delivering items ordered from the Retreat to cabins or emptying bins on a changeover day.

You’ll take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and are happy to work with our brand standards, ensuring every guest experience that Forest Feeling the moment they step into their cabin.

You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

• 16 years: £8.00 per hour
• 17 years: £10.85 per hour
