Job Description:

Our Finance Teams: Our Finance team plays a vital role in our business success. We are based in multiple locations but operate as one team, working together to create a positive, productive, and efficient finance department within News UK.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of capital expenditure and operating budgets with financial forecasting and P&L Balance Sheets.
  • Managing and tracking departmental budgets, liaising with the Property and Facilities Director and Senior Facilities Manager to flag issues.
  • Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and coordinating with suppliers and the internal accounts department regarding payment dates and issue resolution.
  • Providing administrative support to the Senior Facilities Manager and Property and Facilities Director, including diary management, meeting minutes, presentations, archiving, and electronic filing on shared platforms like Google Drive.
  • Supporting project administration.
