Job summary

Mindplace Brighton is seeking a Counsellor/Psychotherapist for face-to-face sessions in a part-time capacity. You will work in Project House, Princess House, Queens Road, Brighton, with options for full-time roles.

Competitive salary and extensive benefits are offered, with sessions Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or 2pm-10pm, plus weekend shifts. You will provide high-quality counselling, assessments, and group psychoeducation within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining autonomy and adherence to professional

Qualifications

• Essential counselling qualifications and registration as per listed bodies.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time post-qualification counselling experience.
• Accreditation required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver assessments and formulations to guide interventions.
• Offer face-to-face sessions and various models of service delivery.
• Follow case management processes and collaborate with clinical leads.
• Adhere to sessional limits based on client benefits.
• Provide signposting and onwards referrals as needed.
• Offer wellbeing support and coaching.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and raise mental health awareness.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and policies.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and team meetings.
• Collaborate with teams to improve client and employee experiences.
