Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee Design, Project Management, Site Operations and Health & Safety, with commercial oversight of cost, risk and contracts. You will align multidisciplinary teams to deliver programmes on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong contractual knowledge (JCT / NEC).
• Commercially and technically proficient (background in QS, Contracts, or PM).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• CSCS Manager’s Card; SMSTS or equivalent; IOSH Managing Safely desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational departments including Design, Project Management, Site Management, and Health & Safety.
• Ensure project teams have clear objectives, resources, and support to achieve programme, quality, and budget targets.
• Chair regular operational meetings to monitor progress and coordinate priorities across departments.
• Oversee staff allocation and workload balancing to maximise efficiency across multiple projects.
• Maintain full commercial control of live projects and lead commercial activities when required.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities at project and business level.
• Support the Commercial Director in developing strategies and margin reporting.
• Provide leadership to Design Department and ensure buildable, compliant solutions.
