Job summary

O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Façade Manager for a major Nine Elms development in South West London. You will oversee the façade package from installation through to completion, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery aligns with programme, budget and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Façade Manager on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems and installation methods.
• Experience with main contractors or façade specialists.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day façade package delivery from install to finish.
• Coordinate façade subcontractors, suppliers and interfaces with MEP.
• Ensure works meet programme, quality and safety standards.
• Review drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Provide updates to the project team in meetings.

O'Neill & Brennan are currently working with a leading main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Façade Manager to join their team on a major development in Nine Elms, London.

The project forms part of one of London's most significant and high-profile regeneration areas, delivering a major residential and mixed-use development within a landmark part of the capital.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Façade Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery and coordination of the façade package on a large-scale project, working closely with the wider construction team and specialist subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of the façade package from installation through to completion.
• Coordinate façade subcontractors, specialist contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality and health & safety requirements.
• Manage façade interfaces with structural, architectural and MEP elements.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information, identifying and resolving issues.
• Monitor progress on site and ensure works remain on programme.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Managers, Design Team and Commercial Team.
• Ensure all façade works meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging and close-out of façade works.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings and provide regular updates to the senior project team.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Façade Manager / Façade Package Manager on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, installation methods and construction processes.
• Experience working for a main contractor or specialist façade contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Excellent subcontractor and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and deliver a complex façade package to programme.
• Relevant construction qualifications are desirable.
