Elliot Thomas Consulting is seeking a Fire Engineer to join a growing façade remediation team across the UK. You will provide fire engineering input on nationwide remediation projects, working with surveyors, façade engineers, contractors and building owners to deliver safe, compliant solutions.

This role offers exposure to evolving regulations and a clear path to leadership as the team scales, with travel as required and a strong pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• Proven fire engineering experience, preferably in façade or cladding remediation.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and current fire safety law.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, regulators, and teams.
• Willingness to travel across the UK as required.

Responsabilités

• Provide fire engineering input across nationwide façade remediation projects.
• Prepare fire strategies, risk assessments and remediation specs per Building Regulations.
• Interpret Approved Document B, Building Safety Act and related standards for remediation.
• Collaborate with façade specialists, contractors and clients to develop pragmatic solutions.
• Liaise with Building Control and the Building Safety Regulator as required.
• Stay current with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice.
• Support the technical development of the team and mentor junior colleagues.
• Represent the company professionally on client calls, site visits and meetings.
