Job summary

O seeks an experienced Project Manager to join a specialist façade subcontractor delivering fire remediation and external wall improvement projects across occupied residential buildings in the UK.

The role is hands‑on, from pre‑construction to completion, with strong technical knowledge of façade systems, ensuring safety, programme, quality and budget adherence. Excellent communication with clients, residents and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience for façade subcontractor or specialist façade remediation contractor.
• Experience managing façade remediation, external wall works or fire remediation projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade construction incl. cladding, render, brickwork, demolition and scaffolding.
• Experience delivering works in fully occupied residential buildings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day management and successful delivery of façade and fire remediation projects.
• Plan, programme and coordinate all site activities from mobilisation through to practical completion and handover.
• Monitor progress against agreed programmes, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective measures.
• Manage labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, equipment and site resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Attend client meetings, progress meetings and internal project reviews, providing accurate updates on programme, costs, risks and performance.
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure all activities are coordinated effectively.
