Howells Recruitment is seeking a Fire Engineer with experience in fire safety consultancy to join a Midlands-based leader. You will develop fire strategies, support facade remediation, and perform risk assessments across diverse sectors while collaborating with architectural, structural and MEP teams.

• Degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in fire engineering or fire safety consultancy.
• Experience working on existing buildings and HRBs including retrospective fire strategies and QA inspections.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare fire strategies in accordance with Building Regulations and guidance.
• Prepare retrospective fire strategies for existing buildings and HRBs.
• Support facade remediation projects and review cladding systems and interfaces.
• Produce fire engineering calculations and technical assessments.
• Undertake fire risk assessments and provide recommendations.
• Assist with smoke control, means of escape, and passive fire protection assessments.
• Review active fire protection systems and BIM coordination for fire safety information.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver coordinated fire safety solutions.
• Deliver projects safely within schedule and budget and prepare technical reports.
