Job summary

Cahill Design Consultants Ltd is seeking a skilled Facade Engineer to lead delivery and QA on facade projects across RIBA stages, acting as the technical lead within the practice. You will mentor engineers, shape standards, and support business development while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, staying updated on industry regulations, and contributing to strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in facade engineering consultancy.
• Proven delivery of projects across design and construction stages.
• Strong understanding of facade performance, compliance and regulations.
• Experience leading technical delivery and reviewing work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and project teams.
• Ability to mentor, develop and support staff.
• Commercial awareness of consultancy project delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Chartered status or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Leading delivery and quality assurance of facade projects across RIBA stages.
• Acting as technical lead and SME for facade engineering within the firm.
• Developing and maintaining technical standards, procedures and quality processes.
• Providing technical guidance, mentoring and support to engineers.
• Building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Supporting proposals, bid submissions and business development.
• Identifying opportunities to grow the facade service and market presence.
• Collaborating with wider disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Representing the firm at industry events and forums.
• Contributing to company strategy and future direction.
• Staying current with facade regulations and industry developments.
