Job summary

Meinhardt UK and Ireland are seeking an Associate Façade Engineer in our London office. Lead projects with teams of 3–5, develop designs, and manage client relationships through feasibility to construction.

You will drive workflow improvements, contribute to fee proposals, and advance professional development within a collaborative, global engineering practice. The role requires Chartered Engineer status or progression towards it, strong English communication, and a proactive, team-focused

Qualifications

Based in the UK with strong understanding of UK regulations and best practices.
Proactive, well-organised, and capable of prioritising workloads.
Good IT skills and willingness to learn new façade technologies.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Commitment to high standards and consistent QA.
Experience with façade design and chartership progress as required.
Experience in consulting engineering and use of parametric modelling tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage facade design projects from concept through construction.
Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to establish requirements.
Prepare fee proposals and assist with appointment negotiations.
Develop and apply workflows to improve team efficiency and quality.
Mentor junior engineers and support chartership development.
Lead QA reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
