Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Façade Engineer to join a growing London team and help deliver a wide variety of façade projects. The role offers exposure to everything from investigative surveys and defect assessments to large-scale new-build developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or significant façade industry experience.
• Strong façade design experience with understanding of structure, weathertightness, fire protection, thermal performance, durability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including report preparation.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and team-focused, able to collaborate in multi-discipline environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of façade projects in a technically competent and timely manner
• Provide technical façade engineering advice to various stakeholders
• Develop façade documentation and specifications to a high level of quality
• Communicate effectively using various digital approaches
• Research into and dissemination of new products and supporting literature
• Review specialist contractor submissions
