Job summary

Brown & Wills Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Facade and Cladding Project Manager to deliver external envelope packages across a Northwest portfolio of commercial and public sector projects. You will own facade packages including curtain walling, rainscreen systems, glazing, and SFS, coordinating subcontractors while reviewing designs and ensuring QA and safety on site.

The role requires strong collaboration skills, knowledge of UK building regulations related to facade systems, and holding site

Qualifications

• Must have SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
• Experience with main contractors or facade/cladding specialists is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations related to facade systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of facade and cladding packages (curtain walling, rainscreen, glazing, brick slip/SFS).
• Coordinate subcontractors and review designs/technical matters.
• Oversee QA and safety on site, including working at height.

Job description

A new and interesting opportunity is available for a Facade and Cladding Project Manager to join a leading contractor in the delivery of specialist external envelope packages on a range of commercial and public sector projects across the Northwest.

This key role will join a build main contractor where you will take ownership of a range of fa ade packages, including structural glazing, curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, brick slip systems, and SFS.

Your key responsibilities will include, subcontractor interaction and direction, reviewing design and technical matters associated with said packages, QA and general safety associated with working at height.

Therefore, those who fit the following criteria would be encouraged to apply;

• Have a proven track record operating either in a similar role with a main contractor or with a leading fa ade / cladding contractor.
• Good technical knowledge associated with cladding and fa ade systems, as well as the UK building regulations associated with them.
• A solution oriented communicator who focuses on collaboration, actively listening to stakeholders and articulating clear paths forward.
• Hold valid site certification including SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.
