Gael Force Marine Equipment in Inverness is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our workshops, with a focus on safe working practices and quality fabrication. The role involves reading engineering drawings, tack welding, and performing welds across MIG/MAG, MMA and TIG processes.
Standard hours are 7:00–15:30 Monday to Thursday and 7:00–14:30 on Friday, with potential overtime and occasional site work away from home at short notice.
Location: Inverness Engineering Yard. Please be aware there may be a requirement to work away from home at different site locations on occasions, and at short notice.
Gael Force Group specialise in the building of marina pontoons, breakwaters, designing and building of feed barge operations and other aquaculture related engineering activities.
We are looking for experienced Fabricator/Welders who are reliable and hardworking, self‑motivated, able to demonstrate an ability to work safely and conscientiously on their own initiative either alone or as part of a team. You should also have a high regard for Health and Safety standards.
Standard working hours are 7am – 15:30pm (Mon – Thurs) and 7am – 14:30pm (Fri) with overtime available.
