• Proven experience with thin gauge aluminium welding.
• Skilled in AC/DC welding methods – particularly DTAW and GMAW.
• Solid background in sheet metal fabrication.

Welder / Fabricator – Thin Gauge Aluminium
Location: Farnborough
Type: Full-time Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday–Friday (lunchtime finish on Fridays)

We are currently seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator with strong experience in sheet metal work and thin gauge aluminium welding, to join a precision engineering team in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality, technically challenging projects in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precision welding on thin gauge aluminium using

• Read and interpret CAD drawings to fabricate and weld components to tight specifications.

• Carry out critical self-inspection of work before moving to the next stage of production.

• Produce welding work in line with customer specifications and engineering drawings.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to reduce waste or enhance processes.

About You:

• Proven experience with thin gauge aluminium welding.

• Skilled in AC/DC welding methods – particularly DTAW and GMAW.

• Solid background in sheet metal fabrication.

• Able to work accurately from detailed technical drawings.

• Positive, can-do attitude with a strong respect for health & safety practices.
