Fabricator/Welder (TIG/MIG - Stainless Steel)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join a leading manufacturer of large industrial stainless-steel heaters. The role involves TIG & MIG welding, primarily tube welding, on complex assemblies requiring precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform precision TIG and MIG welding (70% MIG).
2. Cut, join, and shape metal using heat, hand, and power tools.
3. Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
4. Tube and pipe welding in stainless steel (2mm - 6mm).
5. Operate turntables and orbital welding equipment.
6. Use section rolls and plate rolls accurately.

About You

1. Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, especially with tube welding.
2. Technical training or certification is desirable but not essential if you are time-served.
3. Proficient in TIG and MIG welding with a MIG bias approach.
4. Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to first-time quality.
6. Experience with hand and power tools, including measuring equipment.
